Triathlon, Endurance and Cycling Show cancelled for 2017

Triathlon, Endurance and Cycling Show cancelled for 2017
September 7, 2017

The organisers of Australia’s Triathlon, Endurance and Cycling (ATEC) Show, due to run on 9th and 10th September at the Royal Hall of Industries in Sydney’s Moore Park Precinct, have announced that the event has been cancelled.

A statement from event organiser Informa Events advised "we are sad to announce that the ATEC Show will no longer be running in 2017.

"All exhibitors and paying visitors of the event will receive a full refund.

"On behalf of the ATEC team, we would like to thank all our valuable exhibitors, speakers, ambassadors, partners and visitors for supporting the event over the past few years."

According to Australasian Leisure Management Publisher Nigel Benton "the ATEC Show has faced the challenge that many participant orientated sport exhibitions have faced over recent years, namely, people who participate in sport are too busy enjoying their sport to give up time to attend an exhibition.

"It’s a conundrum that weakens traditional exhibitions, perhaps due to participants being able access the information and equipment they need via online sources."

Inquiries about the ATEC Show should be directed to Informa Operations Manager, Elkie Musters on Elkie.Musters@informa.com.au
