Victoria Bowling Club’s new synthetic bowling green which officially opens today, 26^th September, was fully funded and delivered by the City of Ballarat as part of the 2018/19 sport and active living capital delivery program.

The project was delivered in partnership with the Victoria Bowling Club, having been identified as a priority project in the City of Ballarat Bowls Facilities Framework.

The $275,000 project was completed over the past 10 weeks by Sportcrete.

The synthetic green will allow greater participation opportunities for both competitive and non-competitive bowlers of all ages by offering an all-weather surface that can be used throughout the year.

The project was delivered as part of City of Ballarat’s ongoing investment into sport, recreation and active living developments across Ballarat.
