YMCA NSW Chief Executive Leisa Hart resigns

YMCA NSW Chief Executive Leisa Hart resigns
June 12, 2018

After three years as Chief Executive of YMCA NSW, Leisa Hart has resigned her position to focus on the needs of her family and ageing parents.

During her tenure, Hart steered YMCA NSW through the Royal Commission process and led its transformation into a child-safe organisation.

She leaves YMCA NSW in an improved position and with the sincere thanks and well wishes of the Board.

Until a new Chief Executive is appointed, YMCA NSW Chief Risk Officer Lisa Giacomelli will fill the role on an interim basis.

Giacomelli brings over 20 years’ experience in the human services sector including managing strategy and operations in community, youth and children’s services and aquatics and recreation.

The process is underway to recruit a replacement.
