AusFitness Expo Event Director Shaun Krenz said this year, they expected to attract a large number of facility managers and space designers, and not just from the traditional fitness and leisure industries.
Krenz advised “there are significant opportunities across a broad range of industries to incorporate fitness and wellness into their offering. The one thing we learned during the pandemic is that health and wellbeing is an important vehicle to help us get through our lives.
“The last few years has been a pivotal time for health and fitness and has spurred a lot of new ideas and products as the industry responds to what consumers need and want. We’re seeing many new trends including more options for people to look after their health without having to travel, a greater focus on wellness and also ways to make fitness easy and fun.
“Many types of spaces – including parks, hotels, apartment complexes, corporate property developments and estates are looking to incorporate health and wellness offerings to promote their commitment to that important part of people’s lives and also make access to those services really convenient for their customers.
“We look forward to unveiling new developments that will allow different industries to take advantage of the huge opportunities in fitness and health right now.”
