Leading premium gym network in Vietnam - California Fitness & Yoga - has launched a new Women Wellness Program to support women through the physiological changes of their various life stages.

California’s vice president of fitness Gerry Chong notes “In a world where women face unique health challenges, we are proud to announce the launch of our groundbreaking Women Wellness Program.

“Globally, historical medical research has predominantly focused on men. This has resulted in significant disparities in health outcomes. Our Women Wellness Program directly addresses these disparities, offering targeted support to help women thrive at every stage of life.”

The new Women Wellness Program is structured to address two distinct life stages: Menstrual Cycles is broadly for those aged 25–44 years, while the Menopause program empowers women aged 45+ to understand this slow shift in their health and gain control over the symptoms.

There are currently four components to both stages of the program:

• Workshops and educational materials help women better understand their bodies and provide hormone-balancing strategies to support women through their natural cycles.
• One-to-one, coach-led consultations form the basis of personalized workout plans based on specially devised templates.
• Nutritional plans help women understand how to eat to best support their bodies.
• And the community aspect is also key, with women encouraged to support other women – their fellow CA’thletes, as California Fitness refers to them.

Chong adds “this is not just another fitness regimen but a comprehensive approach to female wellness, with an impact that goes beyond physical health.

“It is about restoring energy, confidence and vitality. It is about helping women reconnect with their bodies, enhancing their appearance and revitalizing their sexual health. Inspired by California’s One Life, Live Well mission, it is about helping women feel more vibrant and alive, so they enjoy a better quality of life.”

The inaugural Women Wellness event took place in Ho Chi Minh City on 8th June: a menopause workshop attended by 40 women, with expert presentations from an endocrinologist and the California Coach Training Director.

All materials produced for this event were then distributed nationwide, with the same workshop delivered in every California club throughout July.

The Women Wellness Program is a premium add-on service within California’s PT 3.0 offering – a newly launched reimagining of all PT and small group training services. With PT 3.0 spanning six pillars – exercise, nutrition, sleep, tracking, lifestyle and daily activity – future evolution of the Women Wellness Program is likely to embrace the two remaining pillars of sleep and tracking.
