Concept2 - the pioneer of modern indoor rowing equipment - has announced their global partnership with Battle Cancer as their exclusive event equipment sponsor.

Battle Cancer is a global fitness challenge that brings people together to fight cancer. It is an exhilarating event that pushes participants’ limits, tests their strength, and celebrates teamwork. The challenge is open to participants of all abilities and fitness levels.

Battle Cancer is not a charity itself, but a fitness event series designed to help raise money for registered cancer charities. This means participants can support the cause closest to their heart, with fundraising going directly to the fight against cancer. It's a fun, flexible way to make a real difference.

Concept2 RowErg, SkiErg, and BikeErg machines will support the mission to unite people through fitness and raise cancer research awareness.

Battle Cancer Events
There are three fitness challenges to choose from - Battle Cancer, Battle Run, and Battle Lift - that will test strength, endurance, and speed. Battle Cancer has two divisions so you can compete at your level. The Challenge Division is perfect for first-timers, or anyone looking to take part in a supportive environment. The Compete Division is ideal for experienced athletes who want to test their fitness against a tougher standard. All teams are teams of four - male, female, or mixed. Mixed teams can be any combination of gender.

Battle Cancer Challenge
The Battle Cancer Challenge is a high-energy 90-minute team event featuring a series of five-minute stations, where you will give it your all on the BikeErg, RowErg, SkiErg, and lift for maximum metres/reps with four-minute recovery periods in between. The Battle Cancer Challenge packs in a variety of powerful moves as well - from box step-ups and deadlifts to burpees, dumbbell snatches, kettlebell swings, and sandbag lifts over the shoulder. Gather a team of four and see how far you can push yourselves.

Battle Run
New for 2025, the Battle Run lets you race solo in a 5k test of individual speed and endurance or team up with friends for a longer relay, tackling 10k (2 people) or 15k (4 people) distances.

Battle Lift
The Battle Lift is a 60-minute strength challenge that pits teams against each other to see who can lift the most weight on a single barbell. Adjust the weight and rotate teammates as needed to maximise your collective power.

Battle Cancer events take place worldwide, including locations in the UAE, Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the US.
