Emmett Williams joins ABC Fitness as first-ever APAC Managing Director

Leading fitness businesses technology provider ABC Fitness has today announced the appointment of Emmett Williams as Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Based in Australia, Williams will accelerate the company’s growth and lead customer retention strategies across APAC as a key member of the global revenue team, collaborating closely with the leadership team in the US, Europe and South America, while building a local team.

Advising that this newly created role underscores ABC Fitness’ commitment to international growth and regional expertise in APAC and beyond, Conor O’Loughlin, Chief Revenue Officer at ABC Fitness, advised “Emmett’s reputation precedes him - he’s a dynamic and forward-thinking leader with a track record of driving innovation and scaling fitness technology businesses globally

ABC Fitness has an established footprint across the APAC region, with a strong base of hundreds of customers and a growing team already on the ground who will fall under Williams' leadership.

Commenting on his new role, Williams stated “I’ve spent my career building fitness businesses that improve lives, and I see immense potential in ABC Fitness’ purpose. This is more than a new role - it’s a long-term commitment to the Asia-Pacific market, demonstrating the opportunity for the region’s growth for both ABC Fitness and the global fitness industry.”

A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Williams is a recognised leader in the global health and fitness industry.

He spent over a decade in the United States as a founding partner of Myzone, where he was instrumental in scaling the wearable tech company to more than 9,000 gyms and over 2.5 million users worldwide.

Williams (pictured) is also a passionate industry advocate who has led national and global initiatives, including working with Australia’s Parliament to champion policies that support fitness and wellness. His leadership will be key in strengthening ABC Fitness’ customer relationships, expanding its presence, and delivering on its mission to turn fitness visions into seamless reality across the region.
