Western Australia is to host its first major national and international fitness industry event in almost a decade with ExPRO, Singapore’s leading fitness education and events platform, to stage the inaugural Perth ExPRO Fitness Summit and Festival on the weekend of 8th and 9th November.

Being held on the Scarborough beachfront, the event has been designed to cater to both fitness industry professionals and those that prioritise fitness and wellness, with the weekend divided into two distinct parts: the Summit and the Festival.

Presented in partnership with the City of Stirling, the ExPRO Fitness Summit is dedicated to delivering world class educational content from an influential line up of leading experts and fitness influencers.

The first event of its kind in Western Australia since WAFIC (the West Australian Fitness Industry Convention) in 2014, the ExPRO Fitness Summit is specifically curated to educate and inspire all fitness professionals such as personal trainers, coaches, instructors, Pilates, yoga, and allied health practitioners as well as performance athletes and avid fitness enthusiasts.

Whether a seasoned professional or just starting a fitness career, the Summit aims to present something for everyone to elevate their performance.

Presenters will inlcude AUSactive Chief Executive Barrie Elvish; supported by WNBF bodybuilder Eric Helms; SWEAT Trainer Katie Martin; Revo Fitness founder and Managing Director Andrew Holder; former Olympian Amanda Bisk; RTS Global Chief Operating Officer, Benny Price; CrossFit athlete Khan Porter and high profile trainer Shona Vertue.

Sessions will explore topics from transforming Australian healthcare, performance and muscle building masterclasses, nutritional concepts, evolving personalised workouts and all things health and wellness.

The Festival portion of the weekend has been intentionally programmed to collide music festival vibes with the energetic world of fitness with three stages showcasing the hottest trends led by the industry's most revered influencers and world class trainers from HIIT, yoga, Pilates and calisthenics.

The Festival will also feature fitness personalities and global brands such as Kayla Itsine’s SWEAT, Technogym, LSKD, Revo Fitness and UJUMP along with classes and fitness experiences led by some of Perth’s best studios and gyms including LA Fit, New Movement and The Jungle Body.

Across the weekend, industry professionals, fitness enthusiasts and health-conscious consumers will access mass guided workouts, interactive small classes, educational seminars, immersive workshops, wellness-focussed retail, refuel and recovery stations, all against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean.

An Australian Fitness Network event, WAFIC was last held from 15th to 17th August 2014.
