Merrithew®, a global leader in mindful movement, has apppointed Jim Heidenreich as the company's new Chief Executive. With this leadership transition, Merrithew enters a new era, poised to elevate its legacy of excellence, innovation, and community engagement—a tradition that spans over 35 years.

Merrithew has proudly trained over 80,000 instructors in its education programs including the STOTT PILATES® method, achieving global recognition in over 100 countries and maintaining more than 250 Licensed and Host Training Centres worldwide. Dubbed the ‘"Ivy League of Pilates education’ Merrithew continues to set the industry standard for excellence.

As we embark on this new chapter, Jim Heidenreich's leadership will be central in advancing Merrithew's vision. With over 30 years of executive leadership experience across consumer, health and wellness, and sporting goods sectors Heidenreich is prepared to steer Merrithew into a transformative future. His strategic vision and leadership excellence, proven in previous roles as CEO at Certor and Springs North America, will be pivotal.

With Pilates gaining popularity and becoming a mainstream fitness practice globally, Heidenreich’s strategy focuses on reinforcing Merrithew’s leadership in the Pilates and mindful movement sectors. He plans to expand the reach of STOTT PILATES® through new educational programs, cutting-edge workshops, and engaging digital content. Heidenreich’s commitment to product development and innovation will drive the creation of new offerings tailored to the evolving needs of the global fitness community.
