read moreThe Board of Sydney's City Recital Hall has announced the appointment of Justin Boschetti as its new Chief Executive.
Boschetti, who has served as interim Chief Executive of the venue since February, joined the organisation as Head of Operations in July 2019. He took on the Chief Executive role yesterday.
Over the past two decades, Boschetti has held a range of senior management positions in the arts sector habing previously served as Business Manager at the Seymour Centre in Sydney and as Artist Services Manager at Symphony Services International, where he was responsible for contractual and touring arrangements for international artists performing with the six Australian state symphony orchestras.
He has also worked for Spiegeltent International as General Manager for The Famous Spiegeltent’s international touring operations.
Announcing the appointment, City Recital Hall Chair, Renata Kaldor stated "we are delighted that Justin has accepted our offer and look forward to introducing him to the wider cultural community, when the current restrictions ease. He's proven during these last few months that he is absolutely the right person to take our venue forward during this critical time and into the future.”
Welcoming his new permanent role, Boschetti added “since my first concert experience in the Hall in 2006, I have been in love with the venue.
"I am honoured to have the opportunity to lead City Recital Hall in its next phase and I look forward to guiding the company through these challenging times so that we can return to providing a home for music in the heart of the city.”
