read moreOtium Planning Group has announced the appointment of Tony Butler as a Senior Consultant to their Brisbane office.
With 20 years’ experience in the sport and recreation industry in Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland, Butler brings numerous skills and knowledge to the Otium team.
Specialising in leading critical projects and developing high-achieving cohesive teams within a high-paced setting, in his most recent role, he was responsible for delivering a key legacy project, Redlands Coast Adventure Sports Precinct, which includes the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Canoe & Kayak Slalom course.
Committed to his involvement of the industry, Butler (pictured) is the current President for Parks and Leisure Australia Queensland.
Announcing the appointment, Otium Planning Director, Jason Leslie stated “we are delighted to welcome Tony to Otium. His wealth of experience in our industry across different states will be a great asset not only to our Brisbane office but across the whole team.”
Looking forward to his new role, Butler advised “since embarking on my career within sport, leisure, and recreation, I have always admired the knowledge and advice our industry consultancies have provided in helping propel valuable community projects forward.
