Reece Rackley named Australian Swim Schools Association President

Reece Rackley named Australian Swim Schools Association President
November 23, 2023

The Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) has announced the immediate appointment of Reece Rackley as its new President.

The decision comes as part of the Association's commitment to ensuring strong leadership and continued growth in the aquatic industry.

Rackley (pictured) brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as Vice President and on the ASSA Board since its inception in 2016.

A seasoned professional in the aquatic industry, he has a remarkable background as a swimming and triathlon coach, and as Chief Executive, has taken City Venue Management from a single swim school in Burleigh to a multi-brand organisation responsible for several aquatic-based leisure facilities.

With a family legacy spanning three generations in the aquatic industry, Rackley possesses an inherent understanding of the nuances involved in operating aquatic-based leisure facilities. His dedication to the industry's growth and development is evident through his past contributions and accomplishments, and has been a driving force behind ASSA.

The Association extends its gratitude to outgoing President Wayne Pollock for his dedicated leadership over the past six years. Pollock will continue to serve on the ASSA Board in the capacity of Vice President, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing support for the Association's future.
