With the festive season upon us, we would like to extend warm wishes to our readers for a joyous Christmas and holiday season.

As we reflect on our year, we want to express our thanks and appreciation to you for being an integral part of our success in 2024.  

As 2025 approaches we look forward to keeping connected with you and being part of communicating what this great industry is about as, with our new ownership, we prepare to enhance our coverage and extend our reach.

The holiday season presents itself in different ways for specific sectors.

For some, holidays are a quiet time, allowing the opportunity to refresh before entering into the new year while, for others, they are the busiest time of the year.

Unlike the holiday season over a number of recent years, this peak time of year seems to be free from extreme weather events and challenges - and let us hope it remains that way. Nonetheless, safety is always an issue, when travelling, and particularly in aquatic environments where the vigilance of lifeguards and livesavers is something we commend.
