“The festival will have something for everyone, with free surf lessons, market stalls, workshops, surf competition and more. We hope to see women and girls from all across the state come and get involved in what should be a fun weekend in Lorne.”
Highlights across the weekend include surfing workshops and an exciting evening of entertainment at the Lorne Cinema.
Led by local surf camp provider Honu Honi Surf Camps, Beach Yoga sessions will start each day before a series of insightful workshops covering off topics including Communication in the Water, Surf Forecasting and how the hormone cycle impacts surfing and overall sporting performance.
On Saturday evening, the Lorne Cinema will host 10x Bells Champion and local legend Gail Couper being interviewed for a live podcast recording of Waterpeople, detailing Gails life and journey as a surfer.
