AUSactive Chief EXecutive Barrie Elvish said changes to the Fair Work Act must be understood to ensure all employees and businesses are protected when it comes to hiring new team members.
Elvish notes “many of the businesses in our network employ casual employees – they are vital to the ongoing growth and success of our industry. However, changes to the Fair Work Act are everyone’s business and it’s important our members are aware of what the changes mean for their business and employees.”
Elvish said AUSactive was committed to providing support to members as part of their membership to ensure they had access to the information they require to run their business effectively.
