Ausleisure and Impact Training combine to offer unique free training opportunity

We're excited to announce a brand new partnership with leading industry sales and communication expert Steve Jensen of Impact Training to bring all our members the opportunity for diverse training, resources and up to date industry information.

Sales are important across the industry, from theme park season passes to tickets for live entertainment, fitness club memberships to community sport registrations, swim school enrolments to secondary spending, and Steve ('Dr J') is well placed to share how to achieve sales success.

As Jensen explains “have you ever heard someone say ‘selling’ is a dirty word? or ‘gee, you can’t trust a salesperson’?

“But what if we changed the way we think and speak about sales? Instead, wouldn’t it be great to be ‘a professional communicator who helps people make good decisions?

“The true art of communication has been lost, and the truth is when we focus on just making a sale we won’t achieve the level of success that all businesses need to thrive in the long term.”

Jensen (pictured) suggests that to improve your communication skills so you can help more people make good decisions, there are 14 tips and skills to learn:

  • Have a product a service you are proud to represent.
  • Understand how people make decisions using their red and green brain.
  • Earn trust with the ‘Process of 9’.
  • ALF - Ask, Listen, Formulate your conversation.
