YMCA Victoria and Fitness On Demand have announced a brand-new partnership agreement to deliver world-class virtual fitness programs at YMCA facilities in the state.

An Australian first for the two organisations, the partnership makes YMCA Victoria the first brand to create their own content and partner with Fitness On Demand (FOD) to deliver premium classes to members throughout YMCA Victoria sites. In addition, YMCA Victoria digital programming: Adrenaline HIT and Mynd Wellness virtual meditations will be used by FOD to reach a broader audience globally with more than 3,500 commercial customers across 30 countries.

Welcoming the partnership, Uday Anumalachetty, Fitness On Demand’s Divisional Vice President, stated “it’s fantastic to partner with YMCA Victoria – one of the largest YMCA associations in the world and a leading health and wellness brand in Australia. As an enterprise solution, FOD will deliver digital group fitness and wellness classes and content for both on-premise commercial products as well as via off-premise mobile app for the YMCA.

“Fitness On Demand is designed for organisations just like the YMCA of Victoria – forward thinking, multi-site operators seeking to optimize their member offerings and bring the latest global trends and custom classes to their group fitness and wellness programs.”

Several YMCA facilities have already undergone upgrades to allow for the unique virtual group fitness programming with more to follow in the coming months.
