The major annual event presented by the Venue Management Association (VMA), this year’s Congress will focus on the future of venue management, highlighting the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices. Attendees will gain exclusive insights from world-class speakers, including Jason Lemiere, Head of Broadcast for the LA Clippers at one of the most futuristic venues in the world, the Intuit Dome, as well as Gus Balbontin, former Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer of Lonely Planet, who will discuss adaptability in an ever-changing business landscape, and Paul Bloxham Chief Economist at HSBC, who will provide a forward-looking analysis of economic trends shaping the industry.
With a dynamic lineup of keynotes, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and roundtables, the Congress will explore critical industry topics such as sustainability, the evolution of sports and entertainment venues, the future of fan engagement and the accelerating complexity of venue management.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in exclusive networking and social events.
Looking forward to the Congress, VMA Chief Executive, Joel Edmondson stated “this year's Congress will elevate the conversation about the future of the venue industry, so that we can see greater possibilities for our collective future.
“The program is designed to be highly participatory and interactive, which we hope will inspire the new connections between people and businesses that drive innovation.”
Edmondson added “whether you’re a venue professional, supplier, or industry innovator, this event is your gateway to the future of venue management.”
A new edition to the Congress features the VMA’s Global Innovation Partner, Momentus Technologies, which has partnered with CAST (Centre of Arts, Sports and Technology) to offer an incredible opportunity for startups and scaleups innovating within the entertainment sector. This collaboration will spotlight four early-to-mid-stage companies, giving them the chance to present their innovations in front of the VMA’s over 1,000 members.
