The 2025 AusFitness Expo Melbourne event has seen the unveiling of exciting new trends and record-breaking sporting achievements over its two days.

Staged at the Melbourne Convention Centre on 29th and 30th of March, highlights of the event included:

• 400kg Deadlift by Strongman Joshua Pattaca, 2023 Australia's Strongest Man
• 400kg Squat Powerlifting Championship success by Ai Temaki 
• 190kg Stone to Shoulder by Macauley Tinker in the Strongman
• 126kg Overhead Circus Dumbbell by Jonathan Nello - Unofficial national record in Strongman
• Luke Schnitzel dominating the YOHKA Olympic-inspired ‘Ninja Warrior’ course with a time of 19 seconds
• RTD 'Clean’ Hydration with no sugar - This was the biggest trend of the event, moving beyond elite athletes to mainstream consumers. Brands like Posca (by Merrick Watts), Sodii, Bulk Nutrients Hydration Salts, EHP Labs Hydreau are gaining traction, challenging the dominance of Gatorade and Powerade.
• Bubble Milk Tea Protein- Far East Alchemy’s unique product drew major attention and was one of the most popular stands.

The Expo saw the debut of YOHKA 100 metre Sprint Series on a course inspired by the first ideation of the fitness racing component in the Modern Pentathlon at the LA Olympic Games 2028.

AusFitness Expo
Australians spend around $3.5 billion annually on fitness clubs and gyms and around $8.5 billion on fitness in general. These numbers are projected to get significantly higher in the coming years, and the AusFitness Expo allows consumers to check out the latest in sports, workouts, fitness equipment, nutrition and activewear.

The event is a celebration of health, fitness and inspiration. This year, nine sporting events were on display for spectators to enjoy, there were events that guests could participate in, sporting and fitness stars to meet, discounts on shopping and new innovative products to discover.

AusFitness Sydney
AusFitness will return for the AusFitness Industry Trade Show and Summit - co-located with the consumer oriented AusFitness Expo - in Sydney from 19th to 21st September 2025.
