read moreThe Sports and Play Industry Association (SAPIA) has announced the winners of its 2023 Awards, recognising member achievements in the design, construction, installation, testing and maintenance of sports and play facilities throughout Australia and New Zealand - along with innovation in the manufacture and supply of sports and play surfacing materials and equipment.
Presented at SAPIA’s recent 2023 Annual Conference in Sydney, the winners were chosen from more than 100 entries.

SAPIA’s Awards
Conducted since 2000, SAPIA’s annual Industry Awards Program is based on members submitting their sports, playground and recreation projects for evaluation by specialist judges.
Their purpose of is to support the association’s goal of promoting excellence in sports court, sports field, playground and recreation facility design, construction, maintenance, surfacing and servicing as well as product innovation. The program recognises the work of its members who are participating in achieving this goal and provides members with the opportunity to celebrate their work.
In 2023, SAPIA members submitted a record 108 Awards entries, every one of them a resounding endorsement that members of the Sports & Play Industry Association are Australasia’s experts in the design, construction, surfacing and installation of sports facilities and playgrounds.
The 2023 Industry Awards presentation was held at the SAPIA National Conference’s Gala Dinner on the evening of Friday 1st September.
